Who We Are
COJEP — Collectif des Jeunes Engagés pour le Progrès — is a youth organisation based in Sebkha, Nouakchott. We act for the environment, sport, culture, and citizenship, with and for the people of our neighbourhood.
Our History
Born in Sebkha, Nouakchott, COJEP brings together young people determined to act concretely for their community: reforestation, sport, culture, and health. From a group of volunteers organizing a school reforestation day, COJEP has grown into a structured collective behind FESNAT Sebkha and the Aaw Leki programme.
Our Mission
Mobilize, raise awareness, and act with young people and the community to protect nature and improve quality of life.
